Porsche GT4 Setup Guide for Laguna Seca

Introduction

The Porsche GT4 is almost perfect out of the box. But “almost” leaves 2 seconds on the table at Laguna Seca. The stock alignment is too conservative. You will kill the outside shoulders of your tires.

Alignment Targets

Camber:

Toe:

Sway Bars

The GT4 has adjustable sway bars (Soft, Medium, Hard). Base Setup:

If the car understeers (pushes) mid-corner (Turn 3, Turn 4), soften the front bar. If the car oversteers on exit (Turn 11), soften the rear bar.

Wing Angle

Laguna isn’t a high-downforce track, but you need stability over the blind crest (Turn 1). Run the rear wing at maximum angle of attack.

Summary

Don’t buy parts until you max out the stock adjustments. Need a setup sheet? Email me and I’ll send you my baseline numbers.
